What are you equipped with?

And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. 2For I determined not to know anything among you 1 except Jesus Christ and Him crucified - 1 Cor 2:1-2

Every day, as you prepare to step into the world, what are you equipped with? Your education, skills, talents, strength, wealth and what is it? Have you been in a place your greatest asset/skill/talent was not enough or did not work out and you ended up speechless, helpless, powerless and felt that all of what you knew and trained for simply failed you?

Welcome to the reality of life! Yes, its brutal onslaught day after day as you aspire to be a 'better' version of yourself but end up end up as a 'bitter' version! Paul here explains what he comes equipped with no matter what his journey is, destination is, plan is, purpose is. Its always one thing that strengthens him, equips him, motivates him, drives him and it is the TRUTH of the GOSPEL.

Paul did not carry the depth of his Biblical knowledge, extent of worldly wisdom, excellence of speech and love for travel. He simply carried Gospel, not the modern, animated, colored and politically correct version but simply the raw, unfiltered version of Gospel that preaches, teaches Christ crucified! Not just in heart, he walked into the world every day not ready to point fingers, murmur, complain but ready to take up his cross and follow Jesus in all that he did. Be it tent making or preaching or teaching, Paul had one heart, one message, one skill, and one strength and that was Salvation by the shed blood of Christ!

That foundation, that honesty, that truth reflected in all that he said and did for living or for ministry! He did not aspire to do or pray or practice miracles, he just lived a life that was true to the Gospel he preached and taught and rest is history!

Dearly beloved, whatever God has equipped you and I with, it came at the cost HIS only begotten Son, Jesus Christ! When we remember, realize and walk in that consciousness, we do the ordinary things we always do and leave God to do the extraordinary.

Blessings for the day and week ahead! Go, Live and Work, all in the power of HIS resurrection for there no other power besides or beyond that!
