Confident, Conscious, Complete

Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ - Phil - 1:6

Have you ever been restless about unfinished work? I am not too good at handling unfinished work be it personal, professional or ministry. I aspire to have a clean close every day with absolutely no left overs, but fail miserably most of the time. Sometimes we do the same with God. We try to put God on our clock and run our tasks to see our work done under HIS label.

This verse reminds us of three things: Confidence, Consciousness and Completion. Confidence that it is God who began the work of Salvation/transformation in our lives,

Conscious that HE is good and HIS works are always good in our lives,

Completion is on HIS mind even when he began and he is relentless in the pursuit.

  1. When we lose sight/confidence of WHO began the work in the first place, we attempt to finish in our own strength and miserably fail.

  2. When we lose consciousness of 'WHAT', HIS ongoing good work in our lives regardless of life circumstances, we lose the joy of being part of HIS work and fail to enjoy the fruits or our labor.

  3. Finally when we lose sight of 'WHY' the work began in the first place, HIS coming again, we lose real, eternal vision/purpose of our life.

Are you Confident, Conscious and aspire to Complete with HIM, through HIM and in HIM?

No matter where life's journey takes you this week week, be conscious that, it is another step in God's relentless pursuit in and through us until the day of Christ's coming!

Blessings for the day and week ahead!
